School Age Classes

Our school age program caters for students from Kindergarten through High School.

Our tailored programs focus on developing technique, style and creativity to become confident performers, creative artists, choreographers, dreamers and thinkers.

All our younger classes, and many of our older classes have two teachers ensuring that every student is fully supported during their training.

Styles

Kindergarten to Year 2

Ballet

Class Duration 45mins - 60mins

Class Number 15 children plus two teachers in most classes

Syllabus Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D)

Fees $200 for a 9 week term (45 mins)

$210 for a 9 week term (60 mins)

Our school aged classical program continues to build upon the classical foundations laid in our preschool program. Our classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.).

We also introduce the study of classical ballets taught using our own LLD syllabi. Our levels progress as your child develops and exercises are programmed to both challenge, inspire and develop in your child a lifelong love of ballet.

Jazz

Class Duration 45mins - 60mins

Our Junior Jazz classes are the perfect style of dance if your child loves to groove and listen to musicals.

In these classes we focus on:

teaching jazz technique appropriate to your child's level
assisting in the development of flexibility
strength and conditioning
improvisation skills
coordination and balance
musical theatre

Our classes incorporate the use of appropriate music and will foster in your children a love of musical theatre and storytelling. Our students follow the Australian Teachers of Dance syllabus (ATOD) as well as exercises developed by our own teachers technique assessments.

Lyrical Lights

Class Duration 45mins - 60 mins

Our Lyrical Lights program teaches the foundations of lyrical technique as well as introducing your children to lyrical movement through choreography.

Lyrical is the combination of ballet and jazz and often uses music with lyrics to inspire the movements of the dancer.

An expressive form of dance where your child will learn to move expressively, breathe, create and build important technical skills as a young dancer.

Our vision is that our students will have a strong technical foundation, will grow to become expressive and confident artists that will be the future choreographers of the next generation!

Hip Hop

Class Duration 45mins

Class Number 15 children with two teachers in most classes

Fees $200 for a 9 week term

Our Hip Hop program teaches the foundations of hip-hop technique as well as introducing your children to the style form through choreography. Through this class your child will learn to work to the beat of the music, grow in confidence and have so much fun!
